This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by helping the student engage in learning, develop positive behaviours, and build confidence in a school setting. You'll play a vital role in supporting his transition to a full-time routine, building a trusting relationship, and creating a structured and engaging environment tailored to his needs. Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 mentoring and support, helping the student settle into a consistent routine
- Build a strong rapport through shared interests and consistent encouragement
- Use effective strategies to support both emotional regulation and classroom engagement
- Collaborate with the SENCO and wider school team to shape a tailored support plan
- Remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations About the Student:
- A bright, inquisitive Year 7 student with a strong interest in gaming, Minecraft, and coding

- Has experienced behavioural challenges, including suspensions, and requires a consistent and empathetic mentor to support his development
Experience working with young people with Autism and/or behavioural challenges - A calm, structured, and proactive approach to mentoring
- Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student development
