Benefact Group, are looking for a Group Finance Intern to join our Gloucester office. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a paid placement year for a university student to join our Group Finance for 12 months. This internship will provide valuable insight into the world of Accounting and Finance and you will make a meaningful contribution to our team, working in a dynamic environment. • Assist with monthly management accounting, analysis processes, and internal reporting, including financial analysis, commentary and dashboards
• Support annual statutory reporting and audit processes
• Contribute to quarterly regulatory returns, including Solvency II and other industry reports
• Support the implementation of changes to accounting standards and business processes
• Assist in the daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation processes
• Provide support to the wider finance teams, including tax support and engagement in ad hoc projects
• Develop self through hands-on experience and training
  
  Currently enrolled in a university degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive and eager to learn
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
