Full Job Description

A vacancy has arisen within the North In-Patients admin team based at St Georges Hospital, Morpeth. This is a permanent part-time Band 3 role supporting In-Patients Occupational Therapy, Exercise Therapy and Physio., The post holder will join the North In-Patients admin team to provide allocated and dedicated admin support to Exercise Therapy, Physio and Occupational Therapy teams which will include arranging and note taking of meetings, diary management, call handling, purchase ordering, processing/typing/checking documentation, audio transcription, as well as other ad hoc office tasks such as photocopying, binding, laminating, etc

  • Secretarial experience working within a team
  • Experience in a customer/patient or service user focused environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of the RIO system (training will be given)
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word/Office packages
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Note taking skills
  • Ability to be self-directed, motivated and be able to contribute positively within a team
  • Well organised and structured
  • Be able to demonstrate flexibility in the role
