Full Job Description
SNAPE WITH THORP PARISH COUNCIL
Part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer
Working mainly from home, approx.10 hours per month inc. evening meetings
Starting salary £13.91 per hour.
The Clerk is responsible for ensuring that the Council fulfils its statutory obligations, and implements decisions made. Other duties include finance and budgeting, administration of meetings, dealing with correspondence, and liaising with external organisations on behalf of the Council.
Good communication, numeracy and computer skills are vital. A background knowledge of local government operations is useful but not essential.
Computer equipment is supplied.
