Full Job Description
As a Senior Technical Officer you'll be providing support to the Manager with regard to the provision of good quality private sector housing throughout the Borough. The role includes undertaking a range of specialist duties towards improving private sector housing and carrying out the Council's responsibilities under the Housing Act and other relevant legislation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out inspections of properties and houses in multiple occupation for the purpose of enforcement action
- To assess and process referrals and applications for Disabled Facilities Grants
