Full Job Description
As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day and strategic leadership of the business. This role demands an individual with strong commercial acumen, exceptional leadership ability, and a solid understanding of the agricultural retail sector-ideally with experience at competitors such as Mole Valley Farmers, Wynnstay, or Ritters.
You will oversee operations, manage budgets, develop and support your team, and be a key player in the business's continued growth and success.

Serving both trade and retail customers, the company supplies a wide range of animal feeds, farming supplies, country clothing and more.

Proven experience in a senior management role within agricultural retail
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with a results-driven mindset
- Excellent understanding of agricultural products and services
- Inspirational leader with the ability to develop and motivate a diverse team
- Financially astute with hands-on experience managing budgets and KPIs
- Customer-focused, with a passion for delivering excellence in service
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with competitor operations (e.g., Mole Valley Farmers, Wynnstay, Ritters) is highly desirable
