Resident and Business Support is a very high-profile service, which undertakes the vital role of collecting the main sources of income that the council needs to fund its services, including council tax, business rates, sundry debt, and fines.
We are looking for a business rates specialist who will lead a small team who are responsible for the billing, collection, and enforcement of business rates. If you are an ambitious manager, someone who likes a challenge, is passionate about implementing change to improve services, you may be the person we are looking for.
Alongside significant business rates knowledge, you will need excellent relationship management skills and experience of embedding a high-performance, high-quality, customer-centric culture approach.
The role is an interchangeable role within Resident and Business Support and provides an ideal opportunity for development. Preference will be given to candidates who have significant management experience and are IRRV qualified. If this is you, we would like to hear from you.
