Software Development Engineer (12 Month Contract), EU Prime - Savings and Speed Job ID: 2892893 Amazon Business EU SARL (UK) - H91 The EU Prime and Engagement team is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) to lead medium to large cross-functional strategic initiatives that support EU Prime Speed and Savings strategic goals. This is a unique opportunity for someone inspired by Amazon s high-growth Prime business to make impactful contributions to shape the future of Prime in the EU region. We are open to hire in any EU region - London, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, Munich, or Luxembourg. Feel free to reach out for any EU place even if location description says London. Key Job Responsibilities As an SDE, you are responsible for setting a high bar throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and application development, AWS

technologies, business judgment, curiosity, and superior written and verbal communication skills. He/she will work closely with the business and technical teams to analyze many non-standard and unique business problems and use creative problem solving to deliver results. He/she will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative while paying careful attention to detail, and will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience (non-internship) in professional software development Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
