Full Job Description
You will be seeing a wide range of patients such as new, treatment concordance, phasing, and follow up patients.
The Glaucoma Service is comprised of Glaucoma Consultants, Doctors, Specialised Glaucoma Practitioners, (Nurses, Optometrists, Orthoptists), Ophthalmic Technicians and Perimetrists assigned to glaucoma clinics in conjunction with the glaucoma consultants.
Guy's and St. Thomas' ophthalmology unit offers a specialist referral service for patients, an ophthalmic Accident and Emergency and an established diabetic eye screening service. We regularly participate in CPD Audit and research.
Guy's and St Thomas' is situated in central London with all the benefits of a modern European Capital. We also have crche facilities.
Applicants must have a Healthcare degree and be registered with the appropriate bodies and must have advanced knowledge and skills in managing glaucoma patients. Previous hospital experience would be an advantage. The job would be subject to criminal records check, references and a health check.
