Full Job Description
- Proactively manage a caseload of small claims debt litigation from pre-action through to conclusion, including enforcement action when necessary.
- Negotiate settlements using both formal and informal ADR methods.
- Attend hearings as a witness or representative.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on your caseload.
- Resolve complaints submitted to CISAS and, where appropriate, submit a defence to CISAS.
- Handle claims issued against Chess and managed the conduct of these claims.
Have a minimum of 1 year debt litigation experience - Have a working knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules applicable to Small Claims
- Basic knowledge of contract law
- Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team Desirable:
- Knowledge of OFCOM General Conditions
- Relevant industry experience (Telecommunications, IT Services)
