Full Job Description
If this sounds like you, we would love to receive your application to join our team of non-emergency patient transport service (PTS) ambulance care assistants we have permanent full-time positions in Bradford. But we are also look for bank on zero-hour contracts staff.

Could you communicate with a wide range of people, from patients to healthcare representatives, adapting your approach to give the best possible customer service?
Do you enjoy overcoming challenges as part of a team and carrying out manual handling tasks?
Do you enjoy driving and visiting new areas across West Yorkshire and beyond?
Are you interested in being part of a team that delivers over 900,000 non-emergency patient journeys across Yorkshire each year?

You will support patients, their carers and healthcare representatives, transporting them on journeys to and from healthcare appointments, and helping hospitals discharge patients when they are fit enough to leave a hospital setting.
You must be able to consider each patient as an individual and meet a wide variety of communication and other needs.
Most importantly, you will need to be polite, professional, and eager to make the patients experience a pleasant one.
The Trust operates a formal program of ongoing staff development, with training opportunities and offers good opportunities for career progression.
