You'll collaborate with various agencies and prison departments to deliver high-quality service and ensure a successful reintegration into society.,
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of 40-60 women in custody. Conduct regular assessments, provide support and motivation, and assist with resettlement planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IOMU colleagues, the National Probation Service, Community Rehabilitation Companies, and other partner agencies to ensure comprehensive sentence planning, risk management, and resettlement support.
- Risk Assessment & Management: Use the Offender Assessment System (OASys) and other tools to assess offenders' risk of reoffending and harm to themselves or others. Contribute to sentence planning and multi-agency meetings, including MAPPA and ROTL boards.
- Compliance & Reporting: Complete Part 1 of the Basic Custody Screening Tool (BCST) and OASys assessments within the required timeframes. Provide reports for Parole, Home Detention Curfew (HDC), and other relevant processes.
- Team Support: Act as a role model to promote pro-social behaviour, assist with departmental meetings, and support team targets.

- Impactful Work: Play a crucial role in improving the lives of vulnerable women in custody and help reduce reoffending.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team and build relationships with various agencies, fostering a holistic approach to offender rehabilitation.
- Training & Development: Access to ongoing professional development and training to support your growth in the role.
- Flexibility: While the role is primarily office hours, flexibility is required, and occasional evening and weekend working may be necessary.
