Full Job Description

The Early Intervention Service for Psychosis provides early detection, assessment and intervention to individuals who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. This is an exciting time to join the team, with the development of two new posts. In this new post, we are aiming to support and contribute to the increased provision of family interventions for psychosis alongside providing carer support and education., The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
+ To contribute to the assessment of the care needs of individuals and their families/carers who present with first episode psychosis or at-risk mental states.
+ To contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care to appropriate individuals and their families/carers in the community.
+ To attend and complete behavioural family therapy (BFT) training delivered in-house. To hold a small caseload of families/ carers and deliver family work to these individuals.
+ To assess clients/carers needs, in line with BFT training and evidence-based assessment tools as appropriate., We hope that the advert has given you a clear understanding of the skills we are seeking and the opportunity at hand.
