Full Job Description

The Neighbourhood Officer role You will be responsible for ensuring your patch area is a secure, peaceful and attractive place to live where customers want to put down roots. The patch area for this position is to be confirmed. No two days will be the same whether you are addressing environmental issues, working with customers to resolve and avoid tenancy breaches or signing up a customer to their new home. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to lead on delivering our Neighbourhood Offer which aims to help enhance community cohesion, and to give customers an opportunity to get involved in identifying and resolving issues within their local area. Working out of one of our hubs you'll be at the forefront ensuring that there is visible and proactive neighbourhood and tenancy management within our communities. What we are looking for:
- Relevant and significant housing experience
Ability to be autonomous and solve complex problems to achieve a positive outcome. - Ability to identify estate management concerns including health and safety, and escalate where appropriate.
- Ability to deliver high levels of performance to meet the agreed targets, standards and deadlines in a performance-oriented culture.
- An understanding of and the ability to apply the appropriate legislation, policies and procedures.
- Relevant professional qualification (CIH level 3) or willingness to undertaking studies to obtain this.
- You must also hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle with appropriate vehicle insurance.
