John Smeaton Academy are seeking to recruit a colleague to the role of Lunchtime Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy - the successful applicant will be expected to supervise and engage with pupils in the dining hall and through the school premises during the lunchtime period.

The ideal applicant will have:

• The ability to relate well to children and adults.
• The ability to maintain a safe, calm and happy environment.
• The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
