Full Job Description
You will need to be my eyes and ears because I don't have any sense of safety and danger, especially on the road. I can wonder off when in the shop as I'm easily distracted. I must be closely supervised at all times.
At the moment my confidence is low and I find it difficult to initiate or engage in conversation. When I'm out at the park I prefer it to be quiet and don't like playing with other children.
PURPOSE OF JOB
The purpose of the job is to create a calm environment to gain life skills away from the comfort of my mum., Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. My mother will be your legal employer. The wage will be paid every month on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holiday.

· Someone who will put in lots of effort to get to know me as a person
· Ideally you'll have some experience with my disability, but this is not essential
