Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Safeguarding Officer to join our forward-thinking team. You will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their involvement with safeguarding and pastoral support and have a firm belief in the potential of all students. We are looking for a candidate to assist with the Safeguarding needs of our students at The King John School. Our ideal candidate will: · Be responsible for the day to day management of safeguarding and child protection within the school; to act as a source of support, advice and expertise for staff within the school for child protection and safeguarding. · Communicate with parents, staff, students and external agencies to provide a rapid response to issues. · To work with all stakeholders (internal & external) to ensure that the welfare of students is central to the school's daily work. · To work with all stakeholders (internal & external) to ensure that the mental health and wellbeing of students is central to the school's daily work. · Liaise and work alongside the Safeguarding team. · To provide administration support for the Safeguarding team using a range of applications. You will need to strive to demonstrate, embed and uphold the school's PRIDE core values of Positivity, Resilience, Integrity, Dignity and Equality in order to support the character development of all students.
