Full Job Description

Bourton on the Water Primary Academy Primary is caring, safe and inclusive school dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for all students.

We aim to provide an environment where children are able to achieve their full potential in all aspects of their lives. We CARE about our school community, the pupils, staff and wider environment., We are looking to appoint 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. The positions are for 30 hours per week, 8.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. There will be an unpaid break of 30 minutes per day. The position is fixed term initially. The hours may be subject to change should the funding arrangements or needs of the child change.

We seek applicants who are passionate about supporting children's development this may include having

Experience of working with pupils in EYFS.
- Experience of working with pupils with additional needs.
- A understanding of pupil development.
- Some understanding of EHCP's and My Plans, and how to tailor provision to meet these targets.
- Experience of behaviour management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents & colleagues.
- A good team player who is able to use their own initiative, take on ideas and attend training as required.
- Patient, caring, enthusiastic and flexible in your approach
