The William Henry Smith Specialist College is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and proactive Learning Support Practitioners, with excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong relationships with children and young people to join our college in Elland, Halifax.

- Have a cheerful outlook and mind-set, embracing the positive physical and mental health and wellbeing ethos. This includes role modelling self-care and reflection as part of our wider strategy.
- Have the ability to promote and celebrate diversity, collaboration, and equality at all times.
- Be honest and act with integrity, be trustworthy and understand the need for confidentiality.
Special Educational Needs experience is not essential but a willingness to learn and understand the complex needs of our children and young people; drive, aspiration and achievement and the ability to promote quality of life most certainly is.
