Full Job Description

To provide us with the opportunity to access activities in the community and to encourage our independence. Support will be needed out in the community weather permitted and within our home., Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

· Someone reliable and punctual

· Someone outgoing and patient

· Experience of children with additional needs

· Ensuring our safety is a priority at all times

· Someone who is happy to encourage our interaction & independence

· Driver needed, access to own car with business class insurance in place

3 hours term time and 6 hours non term time (These hours apply to each child individually )

Hours to be shared with another PA, who is currently working on average 1.5 hours per wek

RATES OF PAY

£14.70 per hour
