Full Job Description
- The service offers support to vulnerable children and young people, this includes Supported Lodgings, Nightstop (an emergency overnight provision for homeless young people in Leeds) and Floating Support (1:1 outreach support). We offer floating support and Supported Lodgings placements predominantly in the Leeds areas, but also in neighbouring local authorities
- The 1:1 support is delivered by a bank of as and when support workers. We support children and young people age between 8 and 21 years in a variety of ways, both on a practical and on an emotional level, and can arrange a package of support tailored to their needs. Examples of young people we work with; we support young people who are adopted, young people at risk of CSE and other harmful behaviours, care leavers and young unaccompanied asylum seekers The support we typically offer to young people age 16+ includes: ? help to deal with finances and managing a budget ? help to access employment and training opportunities ? help in applying for more suitable accommodation ? Opportunities to learn and develop life skills ? help to access activities and groups and increase social inclusion ? help to develop the skills necessary to build positive relationships
- 35 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)

Our client is looking for a support Worker with 2 years+ UK experience within a Children's team, The successful candidate will need to hold an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, have a current CRB and be a car driver. If you do not have a minimum of 2 years UK experience relevant to this role, you are not eligible so please do not apply!
