We are looking for a Operations Assistant to help us operate our campsite and bunkhouse at Hafod y Llan. Day to day, you will support the delivery of an enjoyable outdoor holidays experience for our visitors.

Hours: 10 hours per week. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You will be working two 5 hour days a week, during the spring and summer, with ideally a few more shifts to help cover annual leave. There will be less hours available in the winter. Hours are flexible and can be discussed at point of interview. Weekend work will be required at times, but weekends will be shared out equally with other team members. What it's like to work here You'll be based at Hafod y Llan Campsite, located in the beautiful Nant Gwynant valley, at the foot of Yr Wyddfa and in the heart of Eryri National Park. At Hafod y Llan we manage a busy medium-sized campsite with basic facilities. You'll also be required to support our bunkhouse and bothy based locally to the campsite. Travel will be required occasionally. We are a small team of experienced and dedicated people based at Hafod y Llan Campsite, but with national support of people in similar roles. You'll be reporting to the Holidays Operations Manager who manages the outdoor holidays portfolio across Wales and the Peak District. Your role will be to support the Holidays Operations Assistant Manager for North Wales. You'll be a part of a dynamic team making sure that all our guests at Hafod y Llan campsite, Watkin Bunkhouse and Tan y Coed Bothy have a warm welcome and fantastic stay with us. What you'll be doing We are looking for a flexible addition to our team at Hafod y Llan campsite, Watkin Bunkhouse and Tan y Coed bothy. Your focus will be on providing great service to everyone who chooses to stay at Hafod y Llan. You want them all to have a very happy holiday. You'll be answering their questions, following our usual procedures, and working with the local Trust teams as well as Contact Centre staff to make sure we're being consistent and keeping standards high everywhere. Sometimes you'll be working a desk, sometimes cleaning campsite toilets and everything in between in order to keep the campsite and bunkhouses operating to a high standard.
