Due to a continued period of growth, we now have an opening for a Works Manager to join our Civil Engineering division, on a major project in Beverley, UK. As Works Manager you will be responsible for project managing our scheme and ensuring tasks relating to design and construction quality, timeliness and risk are completed in accordance with all GRAHAM processes and procedures We welcome applications from individuals who have demonstrable experience within civils roles; who are practically minded and who adopt a hands-on approach. Candidates should also have stellar interpersonal skills, to ensure open channels of communication across site staff and clients. It is essential that any candidates under consideration have a valid CSCS and SMSTS card. Highways experience is also a necessity. About the role:

• Support the site team in driving work to completion
• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are complied with including Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Permits
• Liaise with engineering staff, foremen and clients
• Plan and organise labour and plant resources
• Ensure that all site operatives are fully inducted
• Undertake Tool-Box Talks and Daily Task Briefings
• Implement clear understanding of works undertaken by subcontractors
• Read, understand and interpret technical drawings and programmes
A full driving licence is essential. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar position with a main contractor.
