Full Job Description
The Site Manager will oversee the daily operations of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards. The role involves managing subcontractors, vendors, and site workers while maintaining compliance with regulations and project specifications. You will need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks effectively., 1. Manage all on-site activities, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and specifications are met. 2. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. 3. Schedule and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams. 4. Implement safety protocols and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations. 5. Conduct site inspections, identifying and addressing potential safety hazards. 6. Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site staff. 7. Maintain high-quality work standards, ensuring all tasks align with project specifications and best practices. 8. Perform regular quality checks and inspections, resolving any issues promptly. 9. Manage site resources efficiently, including labour, materials, and equipment. 10. Monitor inventory levels and manage the timely procurement of materials. 11. Keep accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress and incident reports. 12. Report to senior management and stakeholders on project milestones progress, highlighting any challenges. 13. Address and resolve conflicts on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
1. Experience in site supervision or a similar role within the EV industry (On-street). 2. Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-site construction projects. 3. Strong leadership and team management abilities. 4. Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills. 5. Proficient in project management software and MS Office. 6. Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations. 7. SMSTS certification. 8. Valid UK driving licence. 9. Valid CSCS card. This role involves travel to construction sites, in and around the Greater London region.
