Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civils Groundworks Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating for civil engineering and groundworks projects, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects.,
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks.
- Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Analyse material, labour, and equipment costs to prepare competitive tenders.
- Assist in post-tender negotiations and contract reviews.
- Keep up to date with market trends, pricing, and industry regulations.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil engineering or groundworks sector. - Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, earthworks, and other civil works.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
