Full Job Description
This role will operate within the Aneurin Bevan, Cardiff and Vale and Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board Areas.., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. You will have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer. You will understand and have experience of working effectively in an intra-agency context with Health and Social Care Professionals. Knowledge of the role of the Independent Mental Capacity Advocate as defined in the Mental Capacity Act 2005 is essential.
Previous direct experience in the role would be preferred but training will be provided.
Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is a registered charity with offices in Cardiff and Swansea. We provide Independent Mental Health and Mental Capacity Advocacy Services across most of South Wales, employing 44 employees.
