Join us a Purchasing Assistant at our Customer Repair Centre in Newark and you'll be responsible for ensuring our repair teams have the products we need at the right time, at the right cost, and with the right quality.

You'll get a buzz out of providing a high-quality service to all our customers and suppliers at one of the leading repair centres In Europe!

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

-Placing orders, managing supply and return of spares required for the Customer Repair Centre, our White Goods field operations and third parties
-Supporting the buyers and Assistant Purchasing Managers, to drive the day-to-day Spares Purchasing Operation
-Ensure accurate up to date Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) information is provided to the relevant business area
-Support the delivery of Spares Purchasing KPIs
-Chasing supplier deliveries to improve supplier lead times and give accurate ETAs for stock shortages
-Ensuring all tasks are carried out accurately, on time and within budget
-Working with Goods In department to resolve problem orders
-Ensuring data rigidity within the spares ordering system

You will need:

-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Excellent time management skills
-Communication skills both verbal and written
-Ability to work within a team
-Experience of working in an administrative/office/Purchasing environment would be desirable
