The role of a Personal Assistant and Business Support at HM Treasury is varied and exciting! About the Team
The Office of Financial Sanctions Team sits within HM Treasury. We have been operational since March 2016 and have established ourselves as a world-leader in financial sanctions. We are a diverse and dynamic team of over 130 people from a variety of backgrounds and professions. About the Job
In this role, you will:
- Proactively plan and manage the Director/DD diary using your professional judgement to line up meetings in well-organised way. You will resolve conflicts, negotiate, and allocate time to Director/DD priorities.
- Ensure the Director/DD are clear on their schedules for the day, organising logistics for internal and external meetings.
- Anticipate problems, risks, issues, and corporate tasks and proactively make suggestions about the best way to take them forward.
- Take the initiative to develop and lead relationships with key external and internal partners and colleagues.
- Provide administrative support to the team that the DDs lead, gaining a sound understanding of the teams work and where requested coordinating briefing and occasion project support.
About You
You will be able to deliver a high service, proactively and to a high standard, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and to be people-focused. You will also be organised and efficient, with the ability to work independently and manage a busy workload to deliver changing deadlines and priorities.
