Full Job Description
Duties will include:
Setting up equipment and resources ready for practical lessons
Providing technical assistance during lessons to support teaching
Providing support in photography lessons including the management of chemicals and equipment for the dark room.
Maintaining display boards within the Arts Faculty and throughout the school.
In addition, the role includes working to support marketing as well as contributing to the school's online creative presence by taking photographs and videos of students/events .
Previous experience working as an Art Technician
Experience of specific photographic equipment such as the range of digital and traditional film as well as lighting and flash equipment.
Experience & knowledge of darkroom photography and digital imaging
Excellent organisational skills
An understanding in the use of Photoshop in order to edit photographs as well as create documents / posters etc.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 3.30 pm during term time.
Flexibility is required to support some school events.
