Full Job Description
The role:
+ Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
+ Work closely with teachers and other school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
+ Assist the class teacher with behaviour management.
+ Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
+ Adapt classroom activities to meet the needs of SEN students
+ Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs, including those with autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and other additional needs.
+ Experience working with children with SEND in a school or similar setting.
+ A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
+ Strong behaviour management skills.
+ Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
+ DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
