Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic caretaker to support Whitcliffe Mount with its daily premises needs. The ideal candidate will:

  • Ability to work in an environment of constant change and pressure where an amount of personal decision-making and judgement is required.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal communication skills in order to liaise with young people and other staff members.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people of all ages from different backgrounds with different needs and to respond accordingly to support those needs.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and relevant COSHH and ESCC regulations.
  • A willingness to undertake further development/training as appropriate.
