About the Role: A leading independent school in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated Design Technology Teacher to inspire and teach students in their creative design journey. This temporary role will involve delivering engaging lessons across DT, focusing on areas such as product design, engineering, and textiles. Key Responsibilities for a Design Technology Teacher:
- Deliver exciting and practical Design Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Encourage creativity and critical thinking in product design and engineering tasks.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on design projects.
- Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum and departmental resources.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, including design clubs and competitions.
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. - Experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students in practical and creative subjects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
