+ To create accurate clinically coded data in accordance with nationally mandated clinical coding standards
+ Translate clinical documentation into an alphanumeric coded format
+ To be proficient in navigation of ICD 10 and OPCS classifications
+ To work independently, without direct supervision, prioritising the workload accordingly and in accordance with specific department directives
+ To attend training and specialty workshops as requested by management to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills.
+ To support the department in its commitment to service delivery

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for Clinical Coding to join our team.
As an Accredited Clinical Coder you will have experience of coding a variety of specialties that occur within an acute NHS organisation. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and strive to create accurate clinically coded data, embracing the national clinical coding standards, rules and conventions, to ensure the Trust data is sufficiently robust.
ACC Qualified Clinical Coders living within the geographical location of the Trust can chose to work on site full time or have the option to adopt a hybrid working approach, working part on site and part remotely.
