Full Job Description

Our Waste Data Systems Analyst role will see you working within the waste team, as part of the Suffolk Waste Partnership, to work on the design and delivery of new information management systems to track the performance of new waste services across Suffolk. The new waste services which are currently being planned will see significant changes to the way we collect waste from Suffolk households. Monitoring of financial performance and waste tonnages will be critical to the success of the new services. Be part of a dedicated team using data to plan, implement and monitor new waste service initiatives to maximise capture and quality of recyclable materials.
In this role you will work closely with the rest of the Suffolk County Council waste team to support colleagues on delivery of operational waste processing contracts and communication campaigns to residents. You will also work with colleagues responsible for waste data in district and borough councils in Suffolk.

+ excellent understanding and experience of manipulating data to monitor and forecast performance
+ knowledge or the ability to research and understand waste related policies
+ self motivation, a questioning and critical approach, good attention to detail and organisation skills
+ ability to build good working relationships and to present information to others in an understandable way., This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. + £39,513 per annum (pro rata for part time)
