As a Gatehouse Officer you will:

Operate and monitor the gatehouse, ensuring only authorised personnel enter the premises
Be a first point of contact for visitors to the site
Manage the weighbridge, accurately recording the weights of the vehicles and any other necessary information
Conduct patrols to ensure the site is secure; appropriately addressing any security breaches
Professionally answer any telephone calls to the site, providing assistance and redirecting enquires when required
Conduct staff searches when necessary
Escort staff off site when requested by their Manager
Report any incidents, breaches or irregularities promptly to the appropriate authorities
Ensure site/Health and Safety rules
