Full Job Description
The role
As a Neighbourhood Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of an effective, efficient and customer focused neighbourhood management service whilst proactively providing a focused "risk based" tenancy management service.
You will also be responsible for performance standards and ensure targets are achieved in relation to anti-social behaviour, safeguarding, transfer inspections, tenancy management and estate management and to monitor and report on that performance.
Experience and knowledge of housing legislation and best practice regarding Estate Management, Grounds Maintenance and/or Fire Risk Assessments/Block Inspections issues
Experience of working with internal and external partners to resolve complex issues
Ability to think ahead and be pro-active on behalf of customers and the organisation
Experience of working with vulnerable customers, victims of environmental crime and anti-social behaviour
Ability to generate own ideas and develop others ideas
Proactive approach to customer services
Ability to tackle difficult situations with confidence and negotiate to reach a good solution
Ability to work under pressure effectively and on own initiative whilst prioritising workload with excellent time management skills
Ability to write logically, concisely and persuasively
Current valid driving licence and use of own vehicle
