Full Job Description
Responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:
Support to Operations and Exercises - manage the Support to Experimentation and Training (SET) process, to include tracking of safety critical qualifications, transition from the planning phase into delivery, and routine liaison with other CAMS staff to assure coherent and compliant SET processes on behalf of CAMS HQ. As SET reduces under the Army's new Land Training System (LTS), support the school in the management of contracted solutions through liaison between staff, higher HQs, and contractors. Throughout, support the Chief of Staff (COS) and Quartermaster in the management and tracking of support transport.
Continual Improvement and Assurance (CIA) - support the COS in the CIA process with a particular focus in D&I. Support the HEO in managing the CAMS Defence Learning Environment (DLE), ensuring content is up to date and available in line with MOD policies.
Diversity and Inclusivity - you will be the Diversity and Inclusivity Lead for the school, responsible for updating internal policy and delivering training to staff and students as required. Advise the CAMS CO on D&I issues and ensure that all policy, notice boards etc are up to date. Provide D&I briefs and training to staff and students as and when required
Line Management - in addition to online training development and governance you will have management responsibilities. You will be the direct line manager for 3 Administrative Office /Administrative Assistant support staff within the school as well as oversight of 2 senior non-commissioned officers to manage allocated training support for course delivery
You may be expected to represent the HQ at meetings.
