As an Inspection Supervisor for our Sensors facility, you will manage the throughput of parts within the Inspection Department for production needs, engineering expectations, various investigations including MSA & Statistical Analysis studies as and when required, along with the day to day running of the Inspection Department.,

Managing a team of 6 inspectors, ensuring they are working to the best of their ability
Hold regular One 2 Ones with each team member, offering constructive feedback.
Manage workloads for production needs, engineering needs and various investigations including MSA & Statistical Analysis studies
An understanding of 6s and the requirements associated with the process
Use of SPC data in order to improve supplier quality
Manage deliver expectations of final built units to our customers
Ensure all procedures are adhered to as part of ISO9100/9000 etc as well as internal processes
Manage supply chain non-conformances, creating related paperwork for both internal and external failures
Manage First Article Inspection Reports, both supply chain and internal.
Raising of internal FAIRs, both Sub-Assembly FAIRs and final build customer FAIRs
Flexible to ensure company targets are met.

Strong communicator and leader
In depth knowledge of Manufacturing and an Inspection environment
Confident and assertive when required
An ability to deal with and defuse conflict when necessary
Experience using the following: CMM, Vici, Homel, Keyance and general inspection equipment.
