Overview

Holt Engineering are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our technical team based in Fareham, Portsmouth. As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of engineering operations, including product design, development, and manufacturing.

Head of Engineering Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions
Ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulations
Oversee product design and development processes
Manage engineering budgets and resources
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Foster a culture of innovation and excellence

Head of Engineering Requirements and Experience:

Strong leadership and management skills
Extensive experience in engineering management, preferably in a relevant industry
Deep understanding of engineering principles and practices
Proven track record in delivering successful engineering projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience with project management methodologies
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., CE, FCC, 60945, DNV-2.4, MIL-STD-810)
