Are you an experienced and competent manager? If so, this could be the role for you! As a Strategic Lead you will be responsible for supporting the Children's Services management team in enhancing the capacity of the department to secure performance improvement (including inspection readiness). You will have leadership and oversight of the provision of an effective complaints service within statutory guidelines and resilience management (including risk, business continuity, emergency planning and health and safety). You will oversee workforce and organisational development; provide strategic leadership for the department's digital transformation, ensuring data and information management systems are fit for purpose, and oversight of information governance. Working in a busy, dynamic and supportive environment, you will have the ability to:

• inspire and influence staff and delivery partners to engage fully with the long-term vision and purpose of the Council, and present complex information in an engaging way.

• implications of existing and proposed local, regional and national initiatives, legislation, regulation and statutory guidance for Children's Services and the County Council.
• Children's Services and school performance measures.
  
  Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
