Full Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Modeller to join our finance team and make a genuine impact. We are seeking a motivated individual who to get involved with our core Finical Planning and tasks, including budgeting and forecasting. Experience crafting models and running reports / forecast in Anaplan is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Anaplan, and will act as an SME to optimise our usage of the system. Day-to-Day:
- Collaborate with the Head of FP&A and Commercial team to run and improve the Financial Planning and Forecasting model, delivering an agile, high-quality solution.
- Optimize processes for usability, efficiency, adaptability, and robustness of the Anaplan model.
- Identify and prioritise forecasting enhancements to meet business and regulatory needs.
- Work from a requirements' backlog with minimal direction, ensuring strong change control.
- Collaborate with Business teams to align financial models with business assumptions.
- Assist in running efficient and accurate forecast cycles.
- Support the development of solutions to create a fast-moving CFO function.
- Understand the full forecasting process, from data sources to P&L, balance sheet, and solvency outputs.
- Train, support, and develop model users, sharing proven methods and providing task coverage.
- Support the Finance Team to mitigate risks from single points of failure.
Qualified accountant with insurance/financial services experience. - Big 4 experience preferred.
- Extensive Anaplan financial modelling experience; Tableau and Databricks experience beneficial.
- Proficiency in data structuring.
- Agile change environment experience.
- Ability to manage tasks quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Strong communicator, capable of explaining sophisticated topics to all partners.
- Highly organized, able to work across teams and environments while maintaining precision.
