Full Job Description
- Deliver a short-term improvement plan across core people services (onboarding, offboarding, change & admin, ER, data & insights)
- Review and drive sustainable improvements in core people policies, processes and systems to boost efficiency and service quality
- Implement plans to ensure compliance with current and upcoming employment legislation
- Drive and delivery a robust people risk and compliance framework and plan, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Review the employee relations model to improve service quality and leader capability
- Partner with IT to fully leverage existing HR tech (e.g., Access, ADP), and identify automation opportunities
- Collaborate with the Data & Insights team to deliver improved people reporting and analytics
- Review current People Services supplier relationships to identify service and commercial improvements
- Define and track SLAs and KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous improvement
Proven leadership and specialist in people operations/shared services, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site, customer environment - Strong process and systems knowledge and passion -particularly in onboarding, people change/admin, core people policies, risk and compliance
- Strong expertise in HR technology, automation and digitisation; ideally with experience with systems such as Access and ADP
- Strong ER knowledge and experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels
- Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised, resilient, and customer-focused Desirable:
- Experience in the care sector or other highly regulated industries
- Project management experience or qualification
- Payroll knowledge
- Broader operational shared service experience
