Lead, develop and implement a market leading distribution approach that showcases Royal London's investment and long-term savings strategy as part of our individual and workplace pension propositions.
Contribute towards achieving the commercial objectives of the business unit by influencing senior stakeholders within the business.
Be the investment proposition subject matter expert and develop business relationships with the external intermediary market across Pension and Investments.
Work with colleagues across the business to maximise opportunities for profitable new business production, developing our proposition and ensuring it meets the evolving needs of customers and financial advisers.
Utilise MI/Insight to identify gaps and opportunities relating to our investment proposition that support the delivery of the business plan.

Proven track record in a Senior Business Development role within the intermediary sector is essential.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK financial advice and investment management markets.
External network of partners, experts and executives you have worked with over the years in a primarily advice and/or investment related role.
Superior knowledge of industry matters including regulation, market segmentation and trends.
In-depth understanding of the business models and trading styles operating within the UK intermediary market.
Good understanding of competitor propositions and distribution strategies.
