Full Job Description
Our client who are a Top 5 Global Insurance Broker, are in search of an experienced pension consultant that specialises in consulting on Defined Contribution schemes. You will take ownership for the retention and development of a book of business. You will build client relationships, attend client meetings, provide expert advice to ensure client product and service needs are met, and stay up-to-date with current trends in the industry, monitor market developments and identify revenue generation opportunities for existing clients. Day to Day:
- Create business development plans and identify appropriate business development strategies enabling the team to meet its overall business targets
- Upon identification, report risks to the Operations Director and/or Compliance Director to ensure appropriate risk management activities are implemented
- Ensure working practices are in adherence
- Provide information and updates as requested for regular and ad hoc financial statements for regulatory, accounting and other purposes
- Manage revenue recognition and client billing
- Develop the content and messages for written client communications issued by the organisation, in conjunction with relevant parties
Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. - Experience as a Consultant, working with DC schemes in a regulated environment
- Exposure to Corporate pensions
