Full Job Description
- To develop a coherent, coordinated publicity strategy for advertising the Lancaster Museums Trading Card Game in the Lancaster & Morecambe area and further afield
- To promote and publicise the Lancaster Museums Trading Card Game among the 10-16 years old demographic, by utilising networks established through Escape 2 Make, a youth charity collaborating with FOLCM
- To encourage local schools, youth groups and special interest groups (such as gaming societies) to play the Lancaster Museums Trading Card Game
- To help advertise the formal launch of the Lancaster Museums Trading Card Game in the local, regional and national press, and through social media
A passion for competitive card games and a desire to gain experience in publicity - Enthusiasm for working with museum collections
- Experience using a range of social networking sites
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working
- Relative seas with physical access to the Lancaster City Museum
- Enthusiasm to contribute towards development of the project and a desire to acquire transferable skills through engagement with the project Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of competitive card games
- Experience working with young demographics
