We are writing a new and exciting chapter in the history of The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation project has begun at our resort, due for completion in Autumn 2025. The Belfry Meetings and Events:
The Meeting & Events department boasts 24 stylish event spaces capable of hosting gatherings of all sizes, from board meetings to large weddings and corporate events. With over 120 team members, we serve up to 800 guests simultaneously. Our experienced team ensures seamless and successful events, from celebrity golf days to themed BBQs, creating memorable experiences for all attendees., As the Meetings & Events Bar & Set-Up Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and ensuring seamless event operations. You will be responsible for reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with clients, ensuring accurate communication with relevant teams, and leading a team during service. You will oversee the setup and execution of the largest event bars and support evening event room preparations, maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation., + Oversee key bar services, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
+ Work closely with Bar Management to uphold service and performance standards.
+ Train, brief, and support team members to deliver high-quality service.
+ Ensure health and safety standards are met at all times.
+ Manage stock levels, place orders, and control inventory efficiently.
+ Accurately close shifts, report revenue, and complete handovers.
+ Create a positive team environment that promotes morale and pride in service., We inspire and develop our team through on-the-job coaching & mentoring, in-house training and provide access to our online learning platform, The Belfry Campus.
