Full Job Description
Job duties:
Log accident, near miss, and employee and senior leadership observations
Assist the HSSE Manager in carrying out risk assessments for both sites and keep the system up to date
Take minutes of the HSSE Monthly Steering Meetings
Undertake COSHH assessments following full training
Carry out internal audits as part of the team approach with specific responsibility for First Aid rooms
Support the Supervisors with workplace inspections and maintain the tracker and log actions onto the H&S system
Assist with creating site Health & Safety Plans in line with the business objectives and targets
Help develop a training matrix and training needs analysis and work with Supervisors to ensure the effective implementation
Also assisting the HR department to review & revise the induction process and assist in the delivery of induction training
NEBOSH General Certificate
Previous experience of working in a similar HSE or training role
Experience of using databases
Experience of delivering basic training
Basic understanding of the term corporate sustainability
