Full Job Description
The duties will include: 1. To deliver 2x 60-minute small group physics tutoring and mentoring sessions with 5-15 learners over 14 weeks (class up to 25 split between two tutors). 2. To arrive punctually at the school for delivery of sessions. 3. To support pupil attainment and engagement with learning. 4. To complete and return all necessary monitoring, evaluation and administration in a timely manner. 5. To be a positive role model for pupils, acting responsibly and appropriately when working with young people and school staff. 6. To support pupils' self-esteem, motivation, confidence, persistence and application. 7. To help pupils see the connection between studies in which they are currently engaged and the future stages in their development. 8. To network, share best practice and provide peer support to other tutors and mentors. 9. To complete all training, induction and checks as requested. 10. To submit all timesheets in a timely manner., The Careers and Employability Service supports student and alumni to make choices about their future after their studies. - Experience of A-Level tutoring is not necessary but desirable.
