Full Job Description
- Reporting to the Head of Accident & Health, the successful candidate will have proven experience managing a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention of clients and new business development. They will manage and develop client relationships and grow the portfolio within the business unit and responsible for targeting and converting prospects., Manage existing portfolio by identifying new, and/or existing insurance or reinsurance opportunities and participate in cross selling across WTW
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of prospects including research, initiation of contact and new business presentations in order to obtain new business
- Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise to provide support, service and advice to clients
- Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
- Ensure all relevant information is gathered in the preparation of annual renewals and endorsements on key accounts
- Understand the clients' business and risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service
- Work closely and maintain relationships with key market and client contacts
- Liaise with others to ensure compliant processing of contracts and contract certainty requirements
- Check policies, market presentations and client documentation
- Broke, or liaise with placing brokers to achieve agreement of markets where required and maintain diary/pending system to monitor progress
- Creation of presentations for both new and existing clients
- Maintain accurate and concise placing files, using corporate document management system
- Perform quality control checks on all documentation
- Overall responsibility for compliance procedures for total individual client base
- Adhere to and meet fully the expectations of WTW, as set out in its policies and procedures, training material, and embedded in its systems and controls. - Client servicing and account management + Acts as a trusted advisor. Applies specialist knowledge to assess clients' current and future needs and proactively responds to these. + Fluently describes to clients our products and services, spotting opportunities and facilitating cross-selling. + Establishes close relationships with clients and market partners. + Manages or works on some larger and more complex accounts, working independently, seeking advice as needed. + Develops account plans and manages resources for short to medium term. + Has a broad understanding, of WTW's products and services, the clients' core business, and relevant markets, with some specialist expertise in an area of the business.
- Estensive knowledge of the global Accident & Health (Re)Insurance market, including account management, broking and production.
- Experience navigating a global broker operating across multiple time zones
- Demonstrate strong relationship, consulting and negotiation skills
- Proven experience working with retail and wholesale clients and stakeholders.
- Understanding of WTW global structure and multiple stakeholders beneficial
- ACII qualification (or progress towards) is desirable
