We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional law, including experience with commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This role will play a critical part in advising our business on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, ensuring the highest level of integrity and compliance.,

Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
Work closely with the business teams to understand and support their needs, providing strategic legal input on transactions.
Manage external counsel and oversee the legal aspects of transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, advising on corporate governance matters.
Support the continuous improvement of the legal department's processes and policies.
Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide legal strategies to promote and protect the company's interests.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
At least 7 years of transactional legal experience, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting, with a strong focus on transactions and commercial contracts., Demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload while maintaining priorities and proactively anticipating issues.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal issues and risks to non-legal colleagues.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
Familiarity with international transactions and global regulatory environments.
Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
